mount command

To display information about mounted file systems, enter:
$ mount | column -t

Sample outputs:

df command

To find out file system disk space usage, enter:
$ df

$ df -H

du Command

Use the du command to estimate file space usage, enter:
$ du

$ du /home

$ du -ch /home

List the Partition Tables

Type the fdisk command as follows (must be run as root):
# fdisk -l

# fdisk -l /dev/sda

Sample outputs:
