1) Open your website admin panel and go to System >> Configuration.
Press “Web” button under “General settings”.
2) You will see secure and unsecure URL settings.
Update Base URL for both these options and save settings.
3) Now we are ready to move files, open your FTP / Cpanel or any other software and move files to the folder you need.
4) Test your website after you’ve moved it, don’t forget to update link in browser as you’ve moved website
If you have problems displaying website after it was properly moved try to clear cache – remove the content of the folder “var/cache”.
