How to add more products into the latest products section in VirtueMart

This tutorial shows how to add products to the New products and Featured products sections in VirtueMart.

1. Open Joomla administration panel


2. Go to Components > VirtueMart section


3. Open Products tab and click Special Products link. Here you can see all featured and discounted products in your store.

To make product a special one

1. In the products tab of VirtueMart admin panel menu click List Products.


2. Select any product and click on it’s link


3. At the Product Status tab check On Special check box.


4. Click save to keep your changes.

Both featured and latest products listings on the frontend are created using VirtueMart modules. They can be accessed through Joomla admin panel > Extensions > Module Manager.

1. Откройте административную панель Joomla.


2. Перейдите в раздел Components > VirtueMart.


3. Откройте вкладку Products и нажмите на кнопку Special Products. Вы увидите все избранные и акционные товары в вашем магазине.

Для того, что бы сделать продукт избраным

1. На вкладке products в административной панели VirtueMart нажмите List Products.


2. Выберите любой товар и нажмите на его ссылку.


3. На вкладке Product Status поставьте галочку On Special.


4. Нажмите save для сохранения изменений.

Списки избранных и свежих товаров формируются в магазинах VirtueMart с помощью модулей. Вы можете получить к ним доступ через раздел Extensions > Module Manager административной панели Joomla.
