This tutorial will show you how to activate countdown on Under Construction page in your Joomla 2.5.x template.

First of all, you should put your website offline:

1. In the admin panel navigate to Site->Global Configuration.

2. Set “Site Offline” option to “Yes” and save the changes.

Let’s see how to work with Construction Page Counter:

1. Navigate to Extensions->Template Manager.

2. Click on the name of your theme to access theme settings screen.

3. Open Features tab and scroll down to see the Construction Page Counter settings.

4. Set the exact date your website is on-line. Countdown script will automatically calculate remaining time.

5. As you can see, our website will be on-line on September 5th at 3 PM

6. Save the changes and reload the page.
