How to insert images into an article in joomla

This tutorial shows how to insert image into article in Joomla. The procedure is easy so it won’t take long to do this.

First of all access Joomla admin panel and go to the articles manager (Content > Article Manager).

Select the article you want to insert an image to and click on it’s title in the articles list.

When you are at the article editing screen scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Image button below the article text block.

The appeared window shows you all available images from the ‘images/stories’ directory of your Joomla installation. You can upload images to the images/stories directory of your Joomla root using the FTP manager provided by your hosting provider or use the Upload button below the images list.

When you are done select the image you want to insert and click the Insert button. Don’t forget to save the article to keep your changes.
